Famed author and scientist Arthur C. Clarke died at age 90. Clarke was an early and enthusiastic supporter of cold fusion, and a loyal friend to many researchers. He will be sorely missed. He made many knowledgeable comments about cold fusion in the mass media. He wrote introductions to the books by Beaudette and Krivit. (See “Books and Videos about cold fusion“) His most extensive comments about cold fusion are in the revised “Millennium Edition” of Profiles of the Future (Indigo, 1999).
